Digital Cookbook is great recipe management software with lots of features. With Digital Cookbook you can easily organize your recipes, ingredients, measurement units and menus, perform nutritional analysis, calculate costs, create shopping lists, import and export recipes, and even send recipes to your friends by email. This application has powerful search engine with which you are able to search through your local database by various criteria, like recipe name and type, cooking time, number of servings, nutrition facts and even content of the recipe choosing ingredients you want to be included or excluded in your desirable recipes. By creating the menus you can easily create the shopping list of ingredients needed for preparing the recipes included in menu. If you set the prices for ingredients, regarding your local market, you can easily calculate costs for the menus you create. Import and export functions give you the possibility to exchange recipes with your friends. Even more - huge number of recipes for import can be downloaded from the My Digital Kitchen site. Also, if you like to send your friend a mail with your favorite recipes, you can do it with just few clicks. Print engine is also very powerful and easy to use. By selecting the recipes and starting the print you are able to print your own cookbooks. Moreover - menus can also be printed, with complete list of recipes and summary list ingredients needed, along with their costs and total cost. All of these features and more are packed in very well designed and understandable user friendly interface which will be the basis for the next modules of the My Digital Kitchen family, which are yet to come.
